Riding Mountain UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve (RMBR), one of 19 Biosphere Reserves in Canada, was designated by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1986. It is a special area within which people are encouraged to demonstrate better approaches to conservation and sustainable resource use.

At the Farm Gate Fall Harvest Market

Promoting local and regional producers and artisans the At the Farm Gate Markets are held twice a year. Our next Market will be held September 17, 2022 from 10 am - 3 pm at the Onanole Rec Centre.
